Through careful study and detailed restoration / setup, it captures the "soul" of the instrument and tries to balance sound, playability and post-editing to perfectly match advanced sampling technology. SCARBEE MARK I is derived from Scarbee's legendary “Classic Electric Piano”.

The Mark I is a coveted instrument for its expression and dynamics, and that's why the Scarbee team has gone so far to capture the genuine sentiment of the original. Each of the 73 keys has been sampled at 12 different rates. Also, to truly capture the feel of the instrument, the release tones - the sound created when a damper bounces off the tooth when the key is released - are recorded for each of the 12 speeds at the exact same level as the corresponding 12 sustaining samples.
This incredible attention to detail has produced a KONTAKT instrument of great depth and realism, augmented by the adjustable original sound function and an integrated FX section. Effects include classic reverb, chorus, phraser, amp simulation, distortion auto-wah, pan, compression, delay, bass, and soprano.
