A KONTAKT WIN-MAC STRING ... A STRING faithfully captures the special sonic character of a contemporary custom-made piano with one string per key, originally created by David Klavins in close collaboration with composer Nils Frahm. It does not matter if you are going to create music for the cinema or simply want to introduce new elements into electronic, pop or jazz compositions: UNA CORDA gives you a different tone to anything else your audience has ever heard.
A KONTAKT WIN-MAC CORDA
Choose from three independent sound banks. The first captures the pure, resonant sound produced when each piano hammer strikes a single string. The second and third capture two material preparations placed between the hammers and the ropes. The felt gives a sweet tone with less attack noise and produces a smooth sound similar to that of an unconnected classic electric piano. Cotton generates a louder and more percussive attack, with more harmonics.
Transform sound by accessing unique noise and sound design elements. Adjust the noise by combining fabric preparations, mechanical elements, pedals and the room itself to increase realism or to create something totally new. Add hiss, compression, and saturation from old external gear to generate all kinds of sounds: from dry and dirty textures to liquid pads and spinning effects.
