DISCOVERY SERIES: WEST AFRICA has percussion instruments such as yembes, dununs and bells, which can be used in the ensemble. Also included is a pumpkin and a krin, which can be used as solo instruments. Instruments with a determined tone recreate the unique melodies of the kora, the ngoni, the bolon, the balafon and the flute.
The sounds of each instrument have been carefully sampled in great detail, with the ability to switch between traditional and chromatic scales for instruments of a given pitch. WEST AFRICA is an authentic and easy to use tool for producing modern rhythms with timeless traditional sounds.
